Health Guarantee

All our Maine Coon kittens are health-tested and screened for genetic conditions to ensure they are in optimal health. Each kitten comes with official veterinary paperwork verifying that they are free from common feline diseases and congenital defects.

We guarantee that our kittens are healthy, free of parasites, and show no symptoms of illness at the time of sale. This means they are free from viral infections, bacterial infections, fungal infections, and hereditary conditions. We provide a 7-day health guarantee on all kittens that are fully weaned (eating independently).

Veterinary Examination Policy

Within the first 7 days of purchase, customers are encouraged to take their kitten to a licensed veterinarian for a routine check-up. If a veterinarian determines that the kitten is unfit for sale (not healthy), an official certificate or medical report must be provided to info@whiskeyworldmainecoonkittens.com within 24 hours of the exam for an exchange or a full refund.

🐾 Important Note: Kittens that are still being hand-fed or require bottle feeding do not qualify for a refund, exchange, or replacement if the buyer is unable to care for an unweaned kitten.

If the buyer fails to have the kitten examined by a veterinarian within the 7-day period after pickup or delivery, the buyer understands and agrees that the sale is final, and there will be no further guarantee or refund on the kitten.

Weaning a Maine Coon Kitten

A weaned kitten is one that has been eating independently for at least two weeks and maintains a stable weight before going to its new home. Most of our kittens are fully weaned before being placed for adoption. However, for select cases, an additional charge may apply for extended weaning services. Please contact us for more details.

Do Kittens Come with a Health Guarantee?

Bringing Your New Kitten Home (Settling In)

When you bring your new Maine Coon kitten home, it’s important to give them time to adjust to their new surroundings.

🐾 What to do upon arrival:
✔️ Place your kitten in a quiet, comfortable space with fresh water, quality kitten food, and a clean litter box nearby.
✔️ Avoid excessive handling for the first 24 hours—your kitten needs time to settle in.
✔️ If you have children, gently encourage them to observe rather than immediately pick up the kitten.
✔️ Provide a cozy bedding area where your kitten feels safe.
✔️ Introduce new people and pets gradually, allowing your kitten to feel secure before interacting too much.
